Time Magazine’s Top 100 Photos of 2021

This photograph taken by Callaghan O’Hare, has just a strong impact on me based off of a woman mourning over the loss of her husband due to COVID-19 and also reminded me of being grateful still having family members around who have been exposed to the virus and that I just don’t know what I would do to go through something like she did in this photo.

Travel Poster Graphic Design Project

I chose this location because not only because it’s my favorite place in the world I would like to visit but it’s true, New York City is a place where most dreams are made of and I hope it can make my dream come true too.

Read and Reflect: Why Is Photography So Important

How important photography is to me is it allows me to express myself and other things that I like whether it’s on the internet or in real life. It also boosts my confidence based on how I take my photos and how I like them. Photography is something that surrounds me almost every day so it’s almost like a necessity in my life.

Another way how photography is important to me is it can be a useful tool to help me and others in the real world and digital world too. It can help me promote a future business I want to plan and grow, help inspire me to travel, and can help me to continue to grow my artistic personality as well.

Double Exposure

How I would describe my images is, beautiful, creative, floral, calming, bright, sunny, flaming, an evening moment, and mellow.

Conceptual Self Portrait

Reflection: Conceptual is relating to or based on mental concepts. This photograph conceptually and visually represents something about myself because of the love and confidence I feel when I put on one of my favorite lip gloss especially by how it was given by my favorite cousin.

This photograph above is by the photographer, Cindy Sherman. I do think her work and style is unique and I really enjoy admiring this photograph. I also think it’s amazing and talented of her to be able to become famous and known from her self portrait photography series work.

Meticulous Photography

This image by Emily Blincoe really caught my eye mostly because of the variety of Mexican snacks are sorted out and are included in the frame.

Shooting like Aaron Siskind

When I took a look of his artwork I thought it was a unique and different type of photography that I haven’t seen before and I really admire his black and white photos. What I also like is the different angles on the photos and how some are zoomed in. My opinion on his work is I like it and it was fun to be able to shoot like him and using the black and white features.
